橘子视频 chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon honored as competition finalists at the 2026 PSE National Convention

Professional networking, scholarship, competition, education and relationship-building were on the agenda for eight 橘子视频 students during the 2026 Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) professional fraternity National Convention in Norfolk, Virginia.
At the convention, the Parker College of Business students participated in various competitions, including the organization鈥檚 national scholarship program. Georgia Southern鈥檚 Gamma Lambda Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon earned honors in several contests.
In the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon庐 competition, where students prepare over the course of a year to train in all areas of the sales process, Devin Schneiderman placed fifth among 185 competitors, while Cody Hood advanced to round two of the contest. Before the convention, contestants had to complete sales modules developed by Carew International. The sales call itself took the form of a 12-minute sales role-play.
鈥淩epresenting Georgia Southern鈥檚 Gamma Lambda Chapter at the 2026 PSE National Convention in Norfolk was an honor I don鈥檛 take lightly,鈥 said Schneiderman, a senior marketing major with an emphasis in sales and sales management. 鈥淧lacing in the top five at the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon National Sales Competition, a first for our chapter, is something I鈥檓 incredibly proud of. I鈥檓 grateful for the guidance and mentorship of chapter advisor Travis Brickey, whose support made this possible. Experiences like this one are truly irreplaceable.鈥
Hood also competed in The Interview Competition, where he finished in the top seven out of more than 100 competitors. Students Jennifer Atkins and Jason Payne also competed in The Interview Competition, both advancing to the second round. Presented by Mutual of Omaha, this competition helps students learn interview techniques, practice interviewing with a live judge, build relationships with potential employers and compete for prizes.
The group also secured a top five finalist spot in the National Awards Program for the Top Marketing/Sales Project (Profit) Award category. The National Awards Program is the pinnacle of each chapter鈥檚 yearly achievements, offering a platform to compete with other chapters nationwide. Participants submit written reports, deliver verbal presentations and engage in group panel interviews, all while building practical business skills. They gain recognition for chapters and individual accomplishments across various categories.
鈥淢y first PSE National Convention will be difficult to top. Being around hundreds of students from such diverse backgrounds, all challenging themselves alongside me, really fueled my competitive nature,鈥 said Hood, a junior marketing major with an emphasis in sales and sales management. 鈥淔inishing as a national runner-up for the Interview Competition and as a semi-finalist for my first sales competition is something I鈥檓 very proud of. The friendships and connections I have made on these trips are the kind that will last me a lifetime. No matter what your major, PSE has a place for you and will help you get real-world experience under your belt.鈥
Travis Brickey, advisor of the Gamma Lambda chapter of PSE, commended the students on their successes.
鈥淚鈥檓 extremely proud of our team, many first-time competitors, who decided to prepare and train for the PSE National Convention, on top of their other academic commitments,鈥 said Brickey, who is also a senior lecturer of marketing and director of the Center for Sales Excellence. 鈥淭hese students each represented their University with dignity and class amongst their peer institutions.鈥
Brickey also expressed gratitude to corporate partners of the Center for Sales Excellence.
鈥淥nly with your support are opportunities like this possible for our students as we work together to mentor and develop the sales leaders of the next generation,鈥 Brickey said. 鈥淥ur program and students are extremely grateful for your commitment to sales education.鈥
