
The next installment of the Moveable Feast lecture series is an in-depth discussion of the evolution of combat training from the Middle Ages to the modern day.

Two faculty members from Ƶ’s College of Arts and Humanities will be featured presenting authors during the 2026 Savannah Book Festival on Free Festival Saturday, Feb. 7.

The University College will be led by Delana Schartner, Ph.D., an experienced academic leader.

Ƶ has entered into an impactful collaboration with Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc., a leading provider of analytical instrumentation, through the Shimadzu Partnership for Academics, Research, and Quality of Life (SPARQ) program. Representatives from Ƶ and Shimadzu announced the partnership after signing the official agreement this week.

Ƶ is collaborating with the Georgia Institute of Technology to develop a device that will improve athlete safety and performance.

Second-year electrical engineering major James Eldridge doesn’t boast about the extensive work he does in his hometown of Hinesville, Georgia, but the community notices. From volunteering at his church to helping with the local food drive, Eldridge thrives on giving back to the community that raised him.

Ƶ has awarded Stephen Milner (’96) with the 2025 Talon Award.
