Georgia Southern selects distinguished speakers for Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies

Approximately 4,400 students will graduate with associate, baccalaureate, master’s, specialist and doctoral degrees this semester during four ceremonies in Statesboro and Savannah. Candidates will have the option to choose the location where they would like to graduate.

Georgia Southern achieves record enrollment post-consolidation

éÙ×ÓÊÓÆµ has set several enrollment records according to official Fall 2024 enrollment data, verified by the University System of Georgia. The University continues to experience growth across various areas including enrollment on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah, online classes, dual enrollment, and graduate program enrollment, among others.

Together We Soar Campaign surpasses $100 million milestone

For 12 years in a row, éÙ×ÓÊÓÆµ has been designated a Military Friendly® school by VIQTORY Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs, STEM Jobs and Military Spouse magazines. This year, Georgia Southern also garnered a Military Spouse Friendly Schools Gold-level designation in the large public school category.

Georgia Southern senior defies convention, navigates online classes to cross the finish line in just two years

Rebekah Dyar is graduating from éÙ×ÓÊÓÆµ without ever taking on-campus classes. On Dec. 14, she will receive a bachelor’s degree in world languages focusing on French, after just two years of online classes. In high school, Dyar earned college credits through the International Baccalaureate program, setting the stage for her unconventional yet successful college career.
